Cutting
Open mowing performed with mowers without belts, the alfalfa is immediately spread on the ground so that the product arrives at the factory homogeneous in color and degree of humidity.

Rake
After mowing, the swathing is not done immediately. The forage is raked the day after cutting and only a little before harvesting. This type of processing promotes a better dehydration process.

Collection
Harvesting is the real strength of our company, it is carried out with an innovative system that ensures a fiber length between 15 and 20 cm. The fiber does not suffer any damage and the leaf remains attached to the plant.

Dehydration
The three-stage dehydration plant has a capacity of about 30,000 liters, at three different temperatures. The drier and therefore lighter product has a quicker passage with less exposure to heat. Cooling is done with the utmost care, thanks to an innovative ventilated belt. The process of about 30 minutes is monitored through infrared rays.

Alfalfa dehydrated in bales
Alfalfa is the most important forage in animal nutrition, especially in the feeding of cattle and ruminants in general. It is no coincidence that the name Alfalfa means "father of all foods". Punto Verde guarantees a fiber length between 15 / 20 cm and processing without damaging the leaf (source of protein). Alfalfa dehydrated in bales is a precious source of natural nutrients, in the most practical and convenient form, easy to transport and above all 100% organic.

Organic fodder and feed
The offer of natural products for animal nutrition is made by producing and marketing NON-GMO FEED of ORGANIC origin, in addition to the processing of chopped straw, straw pellets and alfalfa pellets.
The strong point of this production is the UNIFEED NON-GMO MIXTURE which is made with a careful selection of the best fodder produced by Punto Verde.
