Step: 2
Cut
Open mowing carried out with mowers without belts, the alfalfa is immediately spread out on the ground so that the product arrives at the factory homogeneous in colour and humidity level.
Step: 3
Rake
After mowing, the windrowing is not done immediately. The forage is raked the day after cutting and only a little before harvesting. This type of processing promotes a better dehydration process.
Step: 4
Collection
The harvest is the real strong point of our company, it is carried out with an innovative system that ensures a length of the fiber between 15 and 20 cm. The fiber does not suffer any damage and the leaf remains attached to the plant.
Step: 5
Dehydration
The three-stage dehydration plant has a capacity of approximately 30,000 liters, at three different temperatures. The drier and therefore lighter product has a faster passage with less exposure to heat. Cooling takes place with the utmost care, thanks to an innovative ventilated belt. The process of approximately 30 minutes is monitored through infrared rays.
